is this a good tire setup for mx

Yes. 18 inch rear tires and either a 19 or 20 inch front tire is really the only way to go when it comes to MX.

yea ive only usuallr ran razzr mx tires and im thinking this set up next i jus wanted to know if it was a good choice of tires

Oh, my bad. I have tamers (9.5 in wide) and I love em. They are grooved though, did em myself with a knife. It took a while and my finger hurt for a few days, but it was worth it.

i had that setup for alittle while and liked it alot. the turfs are good tires but SUCK when it gets sloppy. i was at the track one day and there was a mud puddle in a back maybe half way up to the rims deep, i got stuck in it and had to get pushed out hehe. they work awosme on hardpack though
