last year i picked up a 93 300ex from a friend, it sat in his back year for years. the price was right so i picked it up. i thought about fixing it up and selling it, but then i have also thought about keeping it and making it a great trail/play toy. ive got my 250r's and my 450r but i dont want to take them woods riding while they are set up for MX and TT.

so far i have powdercoated the frame, uni air filter, Pc'd nerfs. 450r tires and rims, 400ex a arms, cobra exhaust, if i just want to make it loud, already have the stock exhaust uncorked. ive also got an extra set of works shocks i though about having GT thunder rework for it. new seat since the old one was eaten off by his dog, and some other things that i cant remember off the top of my head.

ive got about $670 in the whole quad as it sits now, should i finish it and sell it, or should i keep it and build a good budget trail quad. although the money would be nice, it would leave me without a quad to go trail riding once i talk my friend into getting one.

help me out, what would it take to make it a very nice trail /play quad, i know its slow, esp compaired to my r's .

well seeing you sig, you have a quad for tt, mx, and i guess your 450r is just your play around quad. I guess I'd keep it, especially since you have a lot of money in it and its a 93. Maybe use it as a backup trail quad or have it handy for a friend to ride. Did the 300s have reverse back then?
