well today i got my new dirtwheels, and thiers a shootout between the new kawasaki brute force 750, suzuki 700 and the polaris sportsman 700. i read the whole thing amazingly and i came across the top speeds of these beasts. they are saying that the brute force's spedomator(sp?) reads 71 mph!!!! and they used a radar gun and it read 71 mph too!!! im thinkin to myself holy chit on a 600 pound utility?! imagine if u piped this thing and took off the racks and a few things to loose a little weight. i just thought that 71 mph is mind blowing on a utility.
any one else read this?

I deff. believe the hype.

If you guys haven't had the oppertunity to try one of these big bore 4x4's you gotta try it.

My buddy has a Sportsman 700 and I've gotten quite a bit of seat time on it...it's so much fun...even just for playing around. It's true, you can pull wheelies all day long....high gear, low gear, whatever....He'll even pull it up with me sitting on the front racks.

And yeah, they're fast.....almost too fast....lol. Those who have ridden them will agree I'm sure. There is a big difference between going fast on a sport quad, and going fast on a massive utility.

I want one.

you should get one. i'm thinking about gettin the new 800 when it comes out where i live. should be sometime in december. one of my friends rode one and he loves it. i'd rather have my popo then the bruteforce. they have alot of downsides on em right now.

I think that the polaris 800 is a joke. If your going to say its an 800, why not make it a TRUE 800 and not a 760:huh

ya i think id have to agree. the brute force is a true 750 at 749cc i think.

i never did care for polaris utilities any way. EVERY polaris quad they make is to heavy. i hevent seen one of thier quads yet that isnt 100 or more heavier than its competition.

i love my dad's polaris. Most reliable power house ever. It will run for ever

who needs a light utility anyway? Before i got my old blaster i realize i was stuck sumping the sportsman and breeze but when it comes down to mud the polaris will work its way out just as well as the competiters.

I dont know why they dont just call it a 760, anyway. To me that sounds cooler than an 800, and its a true cc. Besides, who is it that decided to make quads displacements be shown in 50cc increments? That's false advertisement as far as i'm concerned.

I rode my uncle's Praire 650 all day one time. It was so comfortable to ride! Its not a 750 but it still had a lot of get up and go! My buddies artic cat 400 utility, i hung my butt off the back rack, and he nailed it and yanked on the handlebars at the same time, and we only got it an inch off the ground. My uncles praire 650, jeeze i just had to like blip the throttle while i'm sitting back, and it wheelied easy. It would go through anything, it was muddy, i was going through like 4 foot deep creeks, and it just kept trudgeing along! I def. wouldn't mind having one of these new big bore sport quads!
