Hope nobody minds my Yamaha on this page:eek:, but I thought it would be good for anyone else debating on a new front end setup.
It's Magnum +2+1 arms with the Elka dual rate economies, and it ran me just about a Grand from C&D Racing. (I also got the steel braided brake lines from Galfer, and the hype about them isn't just hype..they really feel and stop good)

I'll post my thoughts on the feel of it when I get to go out and hit some bumps & jumps.

Tell me what you think.

I got another Question. What do you have Done to the Rear End?

Your wish is my command... and I hope you're happy cuz I got soaked goin out to the shed:D

Well warriorman, I'm payin for everything myself. All that's done to the rear, is sunstar sprockets and an x ring chain, and also new bearings in the carrier. I think my rear shock (being compression adjustable) is good enough for a while... I'm trying to afford new tires at the moment so it wouldn't matter if I did want a new shock.

Anyway..here's a couple pics. And, the only cleaning up I did was the plastic, for the first picture up there^, so everything else is pretty dirty:( oh well.

That looks really Sweet. I like how the Shocks look. I want some of them. If you Rebuild the Rear and get a Axle you will be Set.

A Axle, New Rims with MX Holeshots, Rear Shock Rebuild, New Plastic, and some Powdercoating that Banshee would look Brand New.

hey adam, you having any trouble with your swingarm? mines loosens up to where i have to tighten it every few hours... adn the new ones with round housings are $800, iguess i can start saving:( .......so how much better are the shocks?

What do you mean you have to tighten it? Are your bushings going bad maybe? I would definitely try fixing it before replacing it.
And..haven't got to ride it a whole lot yet, waiting for some parts to come in. When I get to take it out I'll let you know how I like them. I did a little jumping and through some rough stuff and I will say it felt much smoother.

What I gave for it... my old 300ex and $800. I had bought the 300ex for $1850 and didn't drop even $100 into it, I don't think.
The shee had alot of problems though, had to replace carrier bearings, clutch, clutch boss, a few other small clutch parts, couple nuts and bolts, sprockets/chain, and some other stuff thats slipping my mind.

Well next up is new tires- I can live with the rims I have and stock axle for now, the plastic is definitely fine, and I'm not going to powdercoat for another year at least. It's getting to be about that time for another rebuild, so I have to have some money ready for that. Plus I'm trying:p to pimp out my car, so the banshee is going on the back burner for a while.

Thanks guys..oh and I do have shockwears, Nacs :D
