Oil Use

i just got my 300ex's clutch and topend redone. it runs great doesn't smoke at all, doesn't leak any oil but it still seems to use alil motor oil everytime i ride it. is that normal or what?

check for leaks. if its your drain plug, you can look for an oil spot on the ground after letting it sit somewhere. if its not that, youll most likely see really thick smoke burning off your engine where it is leaking when its running. if its not a leak and its burning the oil inside the engine, it could be your valve seals...

using oil is NOT normal

it doesn't leak anywhere. and i told the guy that rebuilt it to check the cylinder head. hell i don't know.
