chain adjustment

well i loosened the 4 allen bolts and tryed to turn the little dial thing and it wouldnt budge so what did i do wrong and how do i do it

well i think that's all you do..... shoot some liquid wrench or wd40 in there and let it sit for a little bit

Perhaps your chain is stretched and its already maxed out.

make sure the bike is in neutral.

make sure the 4 bolts are pretty loose, loose enough to move with your fingers. then use a screwdriver or something similar to turn the carrier. mine was never that easy either.

I ususally have to use two screwdrivers (one in each slot) and I find it helps if you roll the quad backwards too while doing it.

i use a spanner wrenchwich fits around and does not mar the metal
