After Market oil Cooler

I hear that you can use a cars tranny cooler as an after market upgrade oil cooler. Anyone know which one I should get does it matter? If you have one let me know what car you got it off of.thanks

Most people just go their local auto parts store and ask to see their smallest oil cooler/ trans cooler.

I bought a trans cooler. How should I plumb this thing. I have done a search but have not found much out. Do I leave the stock one in place or do I take it off and Put the bigger one in place? I dont want to drill into my valve cover and clutch cover so can I use the factory holes? If I run lines to the clutch case and valve cover how the heck is the ol going to circulate. It seems I'm missing something here.
