39 FCR on 450R

what do you guys think about a yfz 39mm carb on a 450R? can pick a 39mm off the yfz for dirt cheap... front intake boots off 450r fits the fcr carb..... going to have to use an aluminum spacer on the back part of carb..... anyone tried this or have any ideas or suggestions? only things pondering now is matching all the wires up for the tps and all that..... any help is welcome.

it would be alright...but actually u want to run a 40 or a 41 on the 450r...but ya a 39 will work fine...u wont see any power gains but u will c a lot of added throttle responce...and ya lots of people have tried the crf450 carb but not the yfz carb...its just a 1mm or 2mm difference...but ya on a 450 most people go with the 40 or 41 but the 39 should work out well...also you can go to www.trx450r.org and they have a walkthrough for hooking up the tps :macho
