does anyone have any pics of port and polish work they have done before ? im trying to get an idea of wat im looking at .. i have an old beat up 400ex im tryin to get some learning on besides my race bike ... i wanna try and port and polish my head alittle bit just for some practice... i got the bike for dirt cheap from my brother in law so i dont care if i mess up anything up lol ... can anyone throw me a list of things the recommend me using .. i have a dremel wat kind of bits to use and stuff like that thanks alot ..

The main thing to think about is to make the passage as straight as possible. You want to keep the curves as easy as possible. The main thing is to make sure that all the connections match at the connection joints

You could use a dremel as the tool and I don't quite know what you'd want as an attachment.

Look up on eBay for porting and polishing, I found someone selling a guide to 2-stroke porting, so maybe there is a guide to 4-stroke porting also.

You will want a selection of these style bits to do the ruff cutting.

And a selection of stones to help with the clean up of the ports.

Also you will need to get the flex shaft device for the dremel, to allow you to reach fully into the port.
