When you charge your ATV battery, do you normally disconnect it? or leave it connected but attach the charger with those giant aligator clips? I would like to charge mine with the cables still attached if possible, less hassle..... but if I run the risk of doing an exfoliating face scrub with battery acid then I guess I'll have to tough it out. :scary:

just clip em onto the battery...no need to undo anything

only on a car or truck with a computer do you need to disconnect the cables. the only 2 risks you run are damaging the cdi box (not likely) and blowing up the battery. there is no acid in a 400ex/300ex/z400/yfz battery but if it was to explode you can still get hurt:p
do not charge it over 2 amps either and for no longer then 1 and half hours at that rate

maybe form the factory theres no acid in the battery but i just bought one for my recon and they put acid in it at the parts store.lol
