Chain Question Please

I'm buying a new chain from Rocky Mountain ATV for my 03 400 EX. What kind is suitable? Can you be specific, because there are 15 different kinds of chains listed for my bike. Thanks!

You need a 94 link o-ring chain at minimum for stock size sprockets, as far as brands it doesn't matter. The x-rings are supposed to be better but I don't have one yet. You also need to get both sprockets at the same time. If you just play on your quad I think RM's Primary Drive set would be a good buy. It's one the first page of the chain area and is around 50 bucks.

I reccomend the DID X-ring ATV chain... I believe it is the strongest chain you can buy and if it isnt its definitely in the top 2. On top of that its got a sweet gold finish and they last a long time. Rocky mountain ATV usually has them for real cheap. Most places sell them around 100 bucks or more, but I have always gotten them from rocky mountain for like 65 bucks. Just get whatever size you can get for cheap as long as its longer. Last time I got an X-ring from them it was like 110 links and I just lined it up and cut it to size. Youll have to cut it to your size anyway most likely so it doesnt matter.
