Is checking the 300ex valve clearances the same as 400ex? And clearance specs?

I have checked the valves on my 400s a couple of times. My service manual for the 300ex has not arrived yet so I am wondering if someone can give me the clearance specs for the 300? Is the procedure to check the 300ex valves pretty much the same?
