Looking for a crf 450 motor to put into a 400 ex

got a 2003 yz450 4 speed motor, and a 2001 yz426 motor built by TC

2600 for the 450, 1900 for the 426. btoh come with carb, electrics and all that good stuff

also can get a completely fresh crf450 motor to you for $2600 shipped. new top end and clutches. real good shape, come with carb and all electrics

ummm im going to have to talk to you within the next 8 months or so about a CRF450 engine maybe:D

Its for chad. Tom at atv four play is going to istall it. He has a kit he sells. He is suppose to be getting back to me with a price. He has a line on new motors. I just wanted to get an idea what a used one would cost if a new one was to expensive.

make sure you get the engine for the trx450, not the crf450, they are drastically different and i have seen a few with the crf engine in a 400 chassis, they did not run worth of crap, just my observation, not from personal experience.

man get a crf or a yz you could put a trx450 motor in it but what would be the use. u&i both know all the pros ran the crf's and they have twice the power as the stock trx motor. Give 416exmx he can tell you anything that u need to know.

yeah , ive owned 3 crf quad and a trx450 and the trx is a dog compared to the bike motors.
