my little cousin rides a ttr 125 L and hes awesome on the ex. It has a lot more power but its easy to adjust to. DO NOT GET A 250EX! just buy a 400 dude, you'll be fine, they arent out of control

get a 300ex if it urs first quad. great reliability, power is so-so and u got a clutch, eletric start, and reverse. the 250ex might be a good quad but ud get tired of it REALY fast. also u can upgrade a 300ex alot easier than a 250ex if u want before u get a 400 or somethin after that.

my dads friends friend never rode anythin before and he had 7000 bucks in his hand to go out and by a yfz450, we all told him he was going to kill himself thank god the store was closed, cause you need to start on something not go from 0 power to 40,000.

but you've ridden before so you could go with the 400, a 250 for me would suck because it is an automatic clutch, my 300's got enough for me, i can pull the front end up in every gear, could go a little faster, but only when im on a flat, smooth place which is hardly never.

have fun with whatever you get, but i think you could easily handle the 400.

I've never ridden anything before I got my 400ex and it was fine for me. Just take it easy and don't act stupid.

go with the 400ex....i regret not doin that in the beginning

i think you'll be aight on it...my sis used to have a ttr125L bout 4 years ago n she can ride quads fine...having the dirbike you've learned already how to handle the clutch etc. which the 250ex doesnt have

All i used to have was a 160 and a 250 quadrunner suzuki. then last year when i was 12 i got a 400. i could handle it pretty good. it doesnt take very much skill to ride it.

I learned the basics on my 250ex and i dont regret it at all. Its good to learn the simple skills on a bike like the 250 and then get a 400 later on. Only reason i think you shouldnt get a 250 is if you are too tall...

I think a 300 would be a better beginner quad because it will have a clutch, that way when you do get something faster you can just ride it, instead of learning the clutch.
