I was just curious why the aftermarket exhaust for quads including those that are qoute made by supreme motor shops (CT, TC, PR Racing, Paul Turner) really dont loose no size as opposed to the stock ones.
I noticed that the racing exhaust on bikes are much smaller then lets say an FMF for your YZ250 that you buy off the shelf.
The canisters on lets say Ricky and MC's bike are all but maybe a ft. long, but the same Pro Circuit pipe used by one of us is 18 in. long and sticks out past the plastics.
Well the canisters for quads in some cases are made of lighter equipment but are even bigger then stock "DG"
Just wondering why this is like that, if it can be done in bikes why not for us boys in quads.
