How many on you have aftermarket bars and what kind do you have. Also whats the difference over stock that you have noticed?

I have the black renthal 7/8 400ex bend. I love them. the difference over stock is the crossbar and pad, they are wider, the sweep isnt as drastic, and they are taller. they also feel much more rigid and more sturdy.

They also cut down on fatigue while your riding, and are quite a bit lighter.

I run the Renthal 7/8" CR-HI bend bars... I used to run the renthal 400ex bend but sold those for these. I noticed a huge improvement in handling from the wider/flatter bend. I feel like I have much better control with my arms farther out than with the 400ex bend where its pretty narrow, tall, and swept back. Especially in the rough stuff, and in the air... I am however 6' and 185, so I dont know...

I take it with the 7/8 bars there is no need for adaptor clamps?

No, the 7/8 fit the stock clamps. I got MSR CR-high bend for my 300, and they make me feel like i'm in more control, and seems much easier and much less fatigue when riding. The MSR's are great quality, and have held up through all of the abuse i've put them though, mine were 35 bucks, saves quite a bit from Renthals, But renthals are some of the best you can get, they're worth the money i think.

Renthal are very good. I rolled my quad and really bent the stock stem but the handle bar was still in great shape, I know the stock stem is not all that strong, but I was still impressed.
