Chevy s-10 computer swap??

Hey i have a computer out of a 92 sonoma and (bubba) is in need of one. I was wondering if the computer from this truck will work for his. He has a 1985 with a 4 cylinder. I think it will but their is also something else you have to change too. but i forgot what the name is.

never heard of computer swaping, but if it the same engine and hook ups it should work

well the truck it came from had a 4.3 his only has a 4 banger. Im guessing the 2.2 but im not for sure.

i don't know, because that would have more cylinders and the firing order would be all messed up and the fuel intake would be out of wack, so you could try, i don't think it would work, but i don't know everything so good luck:)

would the 85 not have the 2.8L which would make it a small 6
