they dont go all the way down in the front. all I can say "measure twice, cut once"

yeah, looks like plain ol 400ex plastic with the bottom cut, should be a very easy cut, looks like just one straight cut.

draw a line where you wanna cut em then get a saw and hack em off!

Yep, simple as that, you want to get a fine blade so it doesn't mess the edges up too much or just get some kind of file that you can use to file the edges down after you cut it.
