New 400ex reverse

Can anybody tell me if the new 05 400ex reverse will fit older model 400s. In other words is there an aftermarket kit to put reverse on the older 400ex yet, or one in the works? I bought a Warrior a few years ago mainly because Honda didn't have a sport quad big enough for me with reverse, at 6' 3" a 300ex is a little small. lol Where I ride reverse is almost a necessity for me, I'm getting old, fat, and lazy. lol

go buy an '05 400ex. It will be to much work to put in reverse

ya pretty much what he said or if u like ur warrior alot go buy a raptor 350. almost the same but new suspension, tires, and plastics

No you can't put the reverse on the older EX. You need the cases from the the 05's sorry

Thanks for the info. I just thought maybe it would be a fairly easy retro fit. I'd like to go buy a new 400ex, but with one kid on her way to college, and another not too far off from going, I need to do a little penny pinching if you know what I mean. I can find used 400exs fairly reasonable, if the swap would have worked I could sell my Warrior to a buddy of mine for somewhere near what a used 400ex would cost me. I guess I'll just have to stick with the Warrior for a while. Too bad, cause I'd really rather have a Honda. Thanks again for the info.

it like 440ex said, you have to buy a 05 case cause there is not enough room in the older 400's to add another gear in there
