Aftermarket Seat Latch

Anyone know where I can get one of these? I saw one on ebay starting out at $25, I haven't seen them anywhere else though. Here's a pic, thanks.

atomic, i got one that looks like that i got it from k&k atv, its there own one, it works good, i like it better then the omf because it uses the hintch pin setup instead of omf's screw on type.

MY FRIEND HAS IT, THIS ONE YOU JUST PUSH THE SEAT DOWN AND PULL A TAB TO THE SIDE ON BOTH AND OFF IT COMES, REALL EASY AND MAKE SIT FIT SNUG

I have one just like that in that pic. That guy that made aluminum stuff on here made it for me. The cotter pins are a joke though, they get bent easily. I drilled the hole bigger and put a clasp type pin in thats about 1/4 id, works great now. Putting one on my R also.

I cant remember his name but he used to sell alot of aluminum parts in the classified. I think it was something like red02 or somethinf not sure. He sold them for 20 bucks, worth it IMO. I tried a search and no luck the crash a while back must have erased it.

whats the purpose of aftermarket seat latches?
my seat seams to stay on fine with the stocker...

Well mine got bent to ***** when I endo'd last weekend plus the plastic pegs that go down into the rubber things on the sub-frame broke off, and you can't replace them from what I can tell. An aftermarket latch is suposed to be stronger and it has metal pegs. My bailing wire setup just isn't working... :o

I think that was his name.

Last time I talked with Redrider ex,,,,that was his name,,his father passed away and the factory he worked at shut down in the same week...he no longer makes aluminum stuff and sells it....I'm glad I ordered everything he made early..I also have one of his seat latches,,,for $20,,well worth it..

Well, that sucks... I guess I'll have to find a seat latch somewhere else.
