View Full Version : 250r vs blaster with 240 kit
whitch best one for drag racing and just riden wide open in a field a 250r for $3500 with fmf pipe jet kit boyson reeds holeshot tires or a blaster for $1200 pro circuit pipe jet kit hole shot tires and have $2300 to spend on it thinking 240 kit big carb +4 swing arm mild porting trengas hydrolic brake oil block off
get the r, it has alot more comfort and alot more power
there are more possibilitys for the 250r than the blaster, the blaster may be faster than a stock r but put a good motor kit in the r and the blaster will look like a mo ped

I'll be the first to admit that i really like blasters except for their small size. the have alot of diffrent mods you can do to them and can be made to really rip for a little machine. but i will also be the first to admit that a 250r will get you alot further than a blaster can, plus it would be way more comfortable.

i actually like blasters, i wouldnt buy one, but afriend has one and i like riding it around in his field, its fun to jump...not big, but its so light and idk its the only 2-stroke i ride so i guess thats part of it but id never buy one...i say go with the r
i actually had a blaster with an extended swingarm, extended axle, +2 a-arms, larger gas tank works shocks...it was alright but cramped and could use more power. if i were gonna spend the money for one again i would definately just spend the extra and go with a 250r.
