best power gains

hey room im new here and was wanting a few opinions on your noticable power gains. im not talking about answers like so and so pipe.what i mean maybe you was running one cam switched to another and what was the difference. also if you had porting done later on after you built your motor. and also topics like fcr's and advance keys, you get the picture. thanks for your time. im bout to build a 416 and want to do it right the first time.
