stripping chrome?

i have some a-arms im wanting to get powder coated this winter and i need to strip the chrome off. whats the best way of going about it?

i believe they need to have the plating process reversed.

or you can have them abrasive blasted and if the chrome is in good shape that should be sufficient.

well the reason im having them powdercoated is becasue the chrome is chipping off in a few places.

yeah it really should be de plated then. popo knows more about this then i do, he can probably get your done...he can even get them re chromed:p

any idea what rechroming would run about?

i can only geuss and say that $100 or so would prolly cover lower arms but you would need to check with popo.
