I'm guessing that your valves need adjusted, mine does that to except when I ride you can hear them clank b/c of how bad they need adjusted.

mine never does that and its almost 3 years all and all i do is regualr oil changes, fliter ect. mine isnt cold natured at all. i pull the choke out to start it then turn it off and it idles all by itself even in the cold. my dads warrior on the other hand takes 10 mins to warm up with the choke all the way on. its very cold natured

its usually nothin bad, just let it warm up. i keep mine in the garage if its cold out, so its easier to start

Mine's cold natured too, i even keep it in a garage, but our garage isn't heated. Hasn't been that cold yet, but it will be, it was last year when i rode, and my 300 was brand new. Ya, i turn on the choke, and get it started and let it set for a while, put my gear on while i'm waiting, then turn off the choke and take off! I love ridin in the snow!

mine just wont start, today i litterly almost ran down my battery trying to start it in the cold. IT SUCKED, but then i could drag it with the rancher and rollstart it no prob... i think part of it is where i need to rebuild it.

TAW if you have an aftermarket rev box it will cause the same hard starting you are describing. You can try putting a stock box back on for the winter so it starts easier or we sell a rev box that increases rpms and eliminates the hard start problem. check us out at www.enginetechatv.com look under the products page for a picture and description of the rev box.

Just let it warm up a little bit. If its cold, it could be your piston Skirt slapping the cylinder walls a little bit! When it starts to warm up the piston will expand and all the noise will go away! It's not a big deal, just let it warm up before u go out and romp on it!

You should always let a 4 stroke warm up before you romp on it anyway! Same with a car :eek2:
