stock to stock a blaster will win in a drag. But on the track the 300ex has the advantage with better handing. But as always it depends on the rider.

Nope. The blaster is just a little faster on the top end.

The blaster is probably a tad quicker off the line but the mid range is about the same.

the rider makes all the difference. my friend had a blaster piped and my 300 has an hmf. of the line we were about the same every time. i would keep with him till 4th then he would pull away soem times. i would say they are evenly matched on a drag. but on a track i blow him away

my 300 had a dg pipe and k&n filter and i draged a blaster with a fmf pipe and silencer and a uni filter and i beat him by like 4 lenths every time.it was pretty quick though.:devil:

i saw a blaster drag a stock 400 and he BLEW the 400 away. but i think that blaster had somethin done internally cuz he had stock pipes and what not.

I agree completely with bradley...plus he does have one SICK blaster, a nicely kept one such as his can not only be fun to ride but can look really sweet too

I have a stock blaster and my neighbor has a stock 300ex. We drag race a lot. We have raced around a track once. I kill him in a drag due to good acceleration and about 5MPH higher top speed. On the track its closer but I still win.

u dont have 5mph advantage he does and i had a 300 and i raced 300s and draged 300s and blasters and the 300s are faster. u are most likely the bettr rider i had a 300 with a dg pige and k&n filter and i draged 2 300s and 2 blasters and one blaster had fmf pipe sliencer and a filter and i beat him by about 5 bike lenghs evry time. he did get the junp off the start a little.

ive dragged a few blasters before and beat them because i had a few more mods, but now i just blow them away :devil:

but still, theyre just about equal except i have to say that a stock blaster handles like balls lol

I rode a buddy of mine's blaster. I didn't like it at all, it didn't handle that well, and i thought the throttle response was better on my 300. Plus his was a little older, and had total crap for brakes. I like my 300 much better. But hey, thats my opinion! Its all rider, the quads are pretty evenly matched!
