In 2001 congress passed a bill which had a loophole that allowed health insurance companies to deny health benefits for injuries sustained in connection with recreational activities, ie... motorcycling, ATVing, snow boarding, snowmobiling and so on were all considered recreational activities.
The American Motorcycle Association pushed a bill that would close this loophole. They just had it pass the Senate on November 21st. Now it heads to the House for a December 6th vote. The insurance companies are fighting tooth and nail to have this thing fail.
Everyones help is needed to make sure this bill passes and stop the insurance companies from denying us the medical coverage we paid for.
