octane booster is pretty much good for anything with low octane fuel. if you use premium grade fuel then you shouldnt have to use octane booster i dont think. but i could be wrong.

I wouldn't put that stuff in my old lawn mower. and the second thing to come to mind was you in no way need high octane. you can run 87 octane and not hurt it. ;)

Octane boosters really arent good to be run on a constant basis I heard they can cause build ups and lead to other small motor problems after a long term use of them.

i use premium grade all year around. me n my dad only bought octane booster once because thier was a slight tickin noise from low octane. got some octane booster and higher grade gas and the problem was solved. but like the guys said before its not good to use it in every tank of gas u get.

Absolutely right... I would NOT use octane booster on a regular basis, and I learned the hard way that it is not even CLOSE to being a substitue for race gas. I was told it was bad to use by many riders at the track as well as Mark Baldwin and Tom Carlson. I wont use it period anymore and do not reccomend it to anyone with a high compression performance engine or your 250 either (at least not on a regular basis)..

Most octane boosters are simply lead substitute. Lead in gas will up the octane, but too much lead is bad and will cause build up problems.
