I was wondering what i can lube and grease to make the "honda squeak" go away. how many hours before i do the axle carrier? I know all the bushings and bearings but what else can i do to keep up with the essential lubrication of important moving parts. thanks.

make sure you lube the pivot bolt! my quad is only 6 months old and i took out that bolt today..and it had rust/corrosion all over it. i guess honda doesnt put much grease on it:o
im going to have pappy put that coating on it, to prevent rust from happening in the future.

Honda put very little grease in the suspension. I took both front a-arms and shock and rear swingarm and shock linkages apart and packed as much waterproof grease that would fit inside the dust seals. There's alot of room for grease, just wipe off all exposed grease on outside of seals. Will collect dust. Once you pack it right... should be good to go for awhile.

I replaced the carrier bearings after about 6 races, I had a squeak from the front a-arms, the bushings already showing wear and the grease was dry.
Not too bad for a full season of racing including the 12 Hours of America,,,

Yes I would cover the pivot bolt, I use grease and antiseize. It only takes a few mins. and helps prevent problems. On my 250r i had to cut my pivot bolt out because it rusted to everything. If somethign ever breaks or you want to put an aftermarket swinger on in a couple years, it will be stuck in there and its a major pain in the ***!!
