On ebay, there is a mounting bracket that supposedly allows you to mount 400EX shocks on the 300. Is this bracket strong enough to hold under jumps? Or will it just break? Heres the link to it

I have fabbed up a few myself and know a couple of guys that run the ones on Ebay and have held up. But you never know, if you aren't racing you should be fine. Do a search on the subject ie. brackets, 300 relocator, 300/400 conversion....

There is another listing for one on ebay as well. It shows it in powder coated red for like 41, that is the one i am thinking about. I have a-arms and tie-rods on my 250x right now and its the ****, but the 400ex shocks are waiting to be put on due to that bracket. i was looking at the one you have linked there, but the other one looks like it would hold up better. I udnno though!

Here is a picture of the one we built for 300ex Sport class champ Dave Macarrol. They work well but the shocks must be revalved and resprung to work correctly.

16 1/4" custom Elka shocks with +2 300ex LSR arms.

That first one on ebay you posted looks interesting for the adjustment value, but not sure on the construction. It doesn't look too bad though. Here is my hack job.

The First picture I would say not to go with..It never broke on me or anything, but seemed to be very poorly built and could break easily and it doesnt fit very good..It interfered with the fender bracket and came with all these washers to useto take up alot of space between the frame and bracket itself..Not a good design and could be made yourself for maybe $10. Now the second is a much better bracket and fits perfect..Looks alot stronger thatn the other and has adjustablility to it that the other doesnt..I would reccomend the second bracket pictured but no the first!! Just my opinion though
