Reason to cut the plactics

Well, Im thinking about cutin my plactics on my 300ex, i want to cut them to see better in front of my tire.
but is there anyother reasons?

to make your quad less air resistant(aerodynamic)

It's nice on a 400ex because you can put your feet on the top of the tire and roll it back easier. On a 300ex you have reverse so I guess cutting the fenders doesn't help.

look and so that you can see down on jumps, but mainly looks. Here is mine w/ cut fenders.

Looks much better (personal preference really), more aerodynamic. But if you ride through mud/water it will throw everything right at your head. It also kinda cool to be able to see the tires/a arms/shocks too...
