Is the honda 450r alot of maintenance:confused:

just gotta change the oil alot more about ever 5-10 hours depending on who your talk to. But its because it only take like .9 quarts of oil each time. I don't personally have one but its just what i've read other than thay i think its just normal maintence like any other quad

I don't think all quads are high maintence all i do with mine is change oil and lube the chain...... And clean the air filter every so often.

Quads are def. high maint. I have had every type of quad and after every season I have to replace about every bearing, chain, rings, bushings, and timing chains. I have heard nothing but good about the 450R.

I don't ride mine to often but i don't really beat it all the hell when i do thou......
all I do on mine is change the oil mnore frequently & transmission fluid like once every 2 months....nothing really big....engines are very reliable if thats what you mean

Yea I have not heard of the 450r being any higher maint. than any other quads. I have a 400ex and if I did not race it all I would have to do is change the oil. The 400ex and the 450r are very very reliable machines.
