yo i live in sussex nj (vernon) but the only place i can ride now is my mountain but thar used to be sum pits but the cops closed em' down. but um.....are thar any traks and leagle places to ride? around here?.

I live in waterford, and do most of my riding during the week in the back yard. I have 3 1/2 acres btw which is next to my nieghbors 7. I hope to build an mx track but need to buy a trailer to hold my dads john deer. weekend rider consist of riding through warton to get to the pit near the atco drags. Usually 5 to 10 riders there each day.

hey platinum 300.... little mill woods are my back yard. they are where the old ski mountain use to be and where they built the new pine hill golf course. there are still a lot of trails and pits and hills to ride at. me and my buddies also built alot of jumps. they also are building houses so we have a lot of dirt mounds we jump.

Chattsworth is like 2 hrs from me. I heard it completely blowscompared to e-town and Rausch.

I want to try it out- $50 is steep- Is it worth it?- Is it open all winter?

Chats is no Etown but you dont have to worry about a $1000.00 fine and getting your truck and quad impounded. The price is a little steepbut its the only State run riding area in NJ and they have to carry a lot of insurance to stay open. The new track layout is better than before but if you are used to Etown or Atco you might not be happy with Chats.Ill be there on Sunday with some friends,stop by and say hi:macho

chats worth is a great place to have fun and play race at. it gets rough and its a great learning place but it doesnt really compare to e-town and atco.

I didn't hear about e-town closing down, I know alot of people hate that place. I think they are stupid new york yuppies. When I moved to e-town 13 years ago, we KNEW it was there, sometimes we could hear it like it was in our backyard, now I hardly ever hear it and in the 13 years alot of woods was cut down between me and raceway park. Maybe they are selling because of the law that the yuppies are trying to pass, 11am start times and done by 6pm or something like that. The traffic torments all the people that live near there almost as much as the niose, when the warped tour was there, there was alot of complaints about garbage on peoples lawns, "freaks" walking down the road, and everything in between.

you have to try to think like the oppistion for a minute, to the oppistion the whole warped tour thing is a very good reason to shut the place down, in theory: they had the warped tour with alot of succes, now more shows are gonna be booked there, whats next, a rap fest, heavymetal fest. You see my point. I know people that live on union hill and they had alot of garbage thrown on their lawn, couldn't get out of the drive way. Add to that the exageration that people do, what do we have next: more regulations, and more media attention, which means more people against the place, and a bigger public profile.

What's up people.
I live in Butler/Bloomingdale area.There are a lot of Riding Trails
around here.But none of the spots are legal.Some are pretty
safe from the cops.I know most of them,there cool dudes most of them.But if there called,they will do there jobs.
The riding here is endless trails,Mostly very rocky.The only
tracks around here are private,and are very small. I made a track
on Fed. Hill About 7-8 years ago.Now it's Totally "F" up.The jumps are not fixed ,and the track has a lot of sharp rocks.The last time i rode there i wasted 2 front tires.
I am lookin for poeple to share riding spots.In the Area of
the Pine barrins. In south N.J. I know its very hot there with the
cops.But in a small group i'll take my chances.
So if you live by the Pine barrins and you want to ride the
Mountains of Northern N.J. Let me Know.

I don't live too close to the pine barrens but you can count me in! I would love to some riding other than what I have been doing. I used to ride my dirt bike for years in the bellplains and loved it. Now im on a quad and want to really do some riding. Plea pm me and let me know what your deal is and when you want to ride.

There are always cops there, on a 400ex and utlity and they let there friends with quads ride. All they do is hand out warnings. your taking about the Stafford dump pitts that connect all the other pits and trails by the mulch piles.

I basically live up in hazelton in the summer. I'm friends with a large group of locals and its probobly some of the best riding all around. This places trails go forever you couldn't ride all this in a week if you tried. There are tons of huge hillclimbs, alot of jumbs, places to drag races were anywere from 15-20 people are out in the pits and draging against you. This is deff my favorite place to ride and I'll set up an exriders.com rider there sometime in the summer to see if anyone would like to join me and a large group of people for some great riding. I've never heard of any problems with the cops other then people parking in places which your really not aloud to.

I think that place near the Turnpike is Dallenbach Sand quarry.Its right next to Local 825 training area.Ive never been there so cant tell you if its good or not and im not sure about the cops in the area.

no not the one behind the school.. If you go down millstone rd towards rte33 make a right on pine hill rd. Its down on the left. They lock the gate but if you have a pick up you can drive around it. If you go make sure its sunday cuz the workers wont be out there.

i work at big boulder and they shut down the snowmobile mx at jackfrost because of insurance reasons i guess thay didnt want to pay alot of money but the harescrambles are supposed to be there and i was just up there last night and the mx tracks are still there they didnt bulldoze them or mothin ill let you know if i find anything out.

Dont ride at crossroads. Cops hang out there to look for trouble. I ride with a bunch of my friends from Mahwah fire co and the cops have told me not to ride there. If you dont mind bashing the **** out of the bottom of your quad ride on Stag Hill, just watch out for the locals. I've been 4-wheeling there for 6 years never seen a cop

I live in Dumont and ride............ places around here where your not supposed to so I'm not going to list them. Good way to have the cops waiting for you when you ride, ask me how I know this

New ATV Off-Road Cross Country Series in NJ, PA and NY.

OK it’s been a while in the making, but we have a NEW Off-Road series and it’s called the Atlantic Grand Prix Series. We have 5 events scheduled for FALL 2005. The locations for the events are New Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania.

For 2006 we have 14 locations and the series will now include locations in Southern New York, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Saturday October 15th 2005 Eagleswood, NJ
Round 1. Cross Country Race $2500 Cash Payout
Location: Eagleswood NJ
This event is featuring both Youth and Adult Cross Country Racing.
NOTE: Sunday the October 16th is an AMA National Hare Scrambles at this location!

Sunday October 30th 2005 Scranton, PA
Round 2. Trail Ride / Poker Run / Demo Rides / Break-In New Trail.
Location: North American Warhorse, Dunmore PA
Sport Quad and Utility Quad riders are invited to sample 30+ miles of never used trails in some
of the most beautiful woods imaginable. The location of this event is on 1700+ acres.

November 12th and 13th 2005 Scranton, PA
Round 3. Cross Country Race / Trail Ride / Demo Rides
Location: North American Warhorse, Dunmore PA
This is a two day event featuring both Youth and Adult Cross Country Racing. Trail rides and
Dealer Demo's are scheduled for Saturday and the ATV races are scheduled for Sunday.
Note: ATV's can ride the spectator course both Saturday and Sunday.

atco and e-town are the same level of tracks. E-town is bigger and more open, also e-town is more loamy. e-town has some big doubles and tabletops. I ride at both places as well as rausch creek and chattsworth. Some words of caution about e-town, they put the sprinklers on seamingly forever and if someone gets hurt, the ambulance leaves and nobody rides untill the ambulance comes back. E-town can get muddy is some spots at times. how often do you go atco, trx350x? keep an eye out for me, I ride a crf450r quad with red plastics and hypers all around. also about the racing series, I'm hoping to be there, and if I get my bike built in time, I'll be riding a atc250r(my other one is setup only for mx)

I'm gonna try to get it toegether in time, don't think its gonna happen. my issue is with the motor, I need some parts and gotta do jetting and break-in. If I don't make it to this one, I'll be at the next one. I'm gonna try to get some other atc guys with me, but you know the deal with most of them, all talk and no action. If I have to, I'll ride the 200x, but I'd preffer a 250r.

Anyone been to Belleplain/Millville off of Rt.47 latley? I heard the other day that are letting you ride on the one side of the dirt road. I stopped going there years ago when they started arresting people.
Another question, anyone ride at Fort Mott off of rt. 49 near the Deleware Memorial bridge, I went by there the other day and damn they blocked most of the pathways in with big pipes, trees and bulldozers.

I ride at chattsworth, I'm usually riding my atc250r there, but latley I've been on my crf450r quad and my 200x. I might go to chattsworth tommorrow and go play in the mud with my 200x. keep an eye out for me, I'll be back with my atc250r next weekend and I built another for woods, so I might bring both and do break-in on both. I ride at e-town, don't even think of going to e-town tommorrow, I rode past there today and its really bad. What do you ride over there? I also have a red nisson frontier. Its gone to hell since they fired the track groomer and now they have this guy that grooms the track after hours and he blows *** at doing it. I don't understand he cuts down the berms, uneven jump faces, horrible landings, he has no idea how to groom. I gotta say, last time I was there, the trails were groomed nice, but why did they close off the extension to the red trail???

You have got to be kidding... Atco is nothing but tripples and doubles with ONE table. Let alone, everyone is doing 4th pinned. Etown, you can go as fast as you want, whenever, its got tables, doubles, tripples, singles... Etown is nowhere near atco similarity wise.

And the sprinklers are there so the dust dosent fly into the sirport, and the drag strip... sure the ambulance thing is stupid... but its better then having two people hurt and one ambulance.

I was there about a month ago, no problems, maybe you're thinkin of the MX track, Mt.Pleasant (right down the road from the pits) Thats been closed since earlier this year.

i'm from deptford,nj.i've been riding at blue diamond in new castle delaware.the tracks nothing special but it gets ruff and its a good way to stay in shape.all these pits in new jersey aren't worth getting you bike taken by the man!!!!!

Is that the same location a "Tr-boro" pit? I was there once earlier this year.
