changing oil on yfz

i have an 05 yfz450 and im bout due for first oil change.. i know theres a drain at the bottom of the sump what bout on the engine my 400ex has one ... and also which of the plates ont he engine is the filter one.

There are two drainage bolts like on the 400ex.....one under the oil reservoir and one under the engine, I believe on the right side (as you are sitting on the quad)at the bottom of the engine case. As for which side the oil filter is on, I am pretty sure it's the left side above the sprocket......but I am not 100% positive - there are 3 bolts that hold it in and one is an allen. Hope that helps a little!

You need to remove the stock skid plate to get at the other bolt ..... it's under there somewhere . The cap for the filter is on the right hand side , from what I remember when i did my last oil change . It looks kind of oval .
