Anyone using tire balls? What do you guys think? I race desert so I was thinking of trying them out. Also, how much $ would i be spending on two fronts and two rears?. THANKS.

There about $260 a tire. So your lookin at a little over $1,000 for the full set...:eek:

go to tireballs.com and they have movies testing them there strong as hell man . That is alot of money though :eek2:

They are like aftermarket shocks, ones you ride with them you'll never wanna do without them again!

how can you tell a dif with them then without them :confused: i thought they just helped keep you from getting a flat tire

They actually improve traction and they don't have the bounce that a tire with air in it does. They act like another set of shocks.

They seem to have allot of problems Desert Racing. There was a long thread about this on sportquad.com awhile back.

so do u have to put any air in the tires or no . or just stick them in there and ur ready to go

Some people use air in them some dont.
I add nitrogen to my tires with the tireballs

Just like Jeff said they are like a shock,they also dampen the severe blow of hitting a rut,root,rock or any other object hard.

I have loaned my set to 2 buddies who race and now 1 owns a set and the other is gettign them. I highly recommend them.

Now I have heard and experienced them on the road or hard pack dirt road on a wide open section like pinned in 5th they tend to wobble just a little but its barely noticable though.
