Baffle ?

I just bought a 05 yfz and took the baffle out of the silencer. My question is do i need to rejet for this?

nar u should be ok with the stock jets the later 04s and 05s come out with the needle on #4 insteed of #3 which is a little richer any way you should be good
just remember to leave it in for brake in as that engine will need a certain amount of back presure to bead the valves in corectly

i disagree.. the yfz is in desperate need of a rejet from the factory, no matter what year. I would move up to a 168 main and a 45 pilot.

im running a 165 main and 45 p gytr clip 4 and i have a pipe filter and cammod im at sea level and it runs perfect. if he puts those jets in with just the baffle out it will run s h i t house.
