Buy another rifle? There's really nothing special about it except it's looks and I think that's why I want it. My gunsmith can knock a couple hundred off the list which makes it real tempting:devil:

what would you do with it?
i almost bought a colt AR15 a couple years ago but i couldnt justify spendind $1500 on it and not be able to hunt or anything with it because you cant hunt around here with anything thats an assualt rifle. im not into siting at the top of buildings and sniper hunting people so i didnt buy.
i guess they would be fun to shoot but its too pricey for a target gun.

I built a badass Bushmaster/Dpms AR15/M4AK a few years back it's awesome. Detachable handle, 16" M4 barrel w/ ak brake, red dot sight. I just missed the toys we had in the Green Machine. :devil:

I'd like to save me some cash for when I turn 21 next July and buy a hand gun, I always like to keep a gun handy when I got up to the mountains, always a good thing to have just in-case, plus I don't have to worry about where I point it up there, I can't hit anything but trees and dirt hehe.

not sure what I want though, I thought about a glock, but I dunno, I want something decent and not too wimpy, semi auto is a must.

the glock's are an excellent choice. i have the model 21 which is the full size .45 . i have aseveral hand guns and the clock is my favorite, its not too heavy for concelled carry and the things are very reliable, its the only gun ive ever owend that has never jammed up on me at some point, even when its dirty.

My .22 never fails to jam up when its dirty, its a cheap marlin I bought from wal-mart for a little over 100 bucks when I turned 18. But when its clean it works perfectly, even when I wail on the trigger fast as I can.

A .45 Glock would be nice, I like the larger caliber guns cause they leave bigger holes :D

the bull pup design has been around since the early to mid 60's. ironically my dad's mom worked for the D.O.D. and was in the department that worked on the original design. he thought at one time that he would be issued that type of weapon but it wasnt released and i believe the british actually were the first to use the design in its armories.

the new M8 should be in service soon...its very similiar


hondaexrider..nice B-40 rocket. my dad had one of them hit near him and left a 50 cent size piece of shrapnel in his shoulder. crude but highly effective....just ask anyone in IRAQ .


i havent bought any new firearms lately. i still have a new DPMS to play with, 24 inch ss barrel, flat top reciever and i installed a new trigger. i havent settled on a scope yet.

i still prefer my M1A for long distance work.

Mmmm .50BMG. I shot a M88-.50 sniper rifle (MacMillan?) with a Navy seal team at Camp Roberts, CA in '91 or '92, very sweet. The hole bolt pulls out and snaps on the end of the round, no safety, hair trigger.

I'd like a Mark23 to play with as far as hand cannons go.

Yeah, ive always wondered how any country could invade mainland America, not saying its not possible, but i mean i know in the south almost every house is like having a small armory! not that i would ever want that to happen, but it seems like it would be a difficult task. All of those guns are cool, i would love to get an AR-15 or AK when i get older, but for home protection nothing beats the good old 12 gauge (with or without the "custom saw modification) lol. i have a Browning BAR in a 30.06, ruger no. 1 in a .243, a 20 guage, .22 rifle, and ruger .22 pistol (fun to shoot)!!! but when i turn 21 and get a pistol, lol im thinkin bout a Desert Eagle .50 cal!! i just fell in love with it the first time i saw someone shoot it at the range!!
