can anyone help me i want to change the sprokets on my '04 400ex its stock right now but im planing on doing lots of stuff and maybe racing it one day. do you have any advice on the number of teeth on the front and rear sprocket and a good company to go with...

You need to do some motor mods to turn some spockets. I ran 16/36 sprocket on my high compression 416 and wipped on some Raptors real bad. A bone stock motor will loose power with those spockets.

depends on what kind of power you are looking for, if you want low end power, go down on the front(14 tooth) or up on the rear, if you want to race or more speed in the higher gears, go up on the front(16 tooth) or down on the rear.
