Question about jetting

ok well i am goin to jet my 300ex but i need to know if i can jet my carb but i can switch from aftermarket exhasut to my stock one with no rejetting. or is there a kit i can buy or sumthing. and how do u jet the carb on the 300ex. i have not a clue how and neither does my dad. my nextdoor neighbor is doin in but i might wanna do it by myself one day. thanks you guys.:D

you will need to rejet everytime you switch back and forth on the exhaust.
you can get a jet kit for it that comes with several different size jets if thats what you want or you can just jet it for the aftermarket exhaust then put the stock jet back in when you switch back to the stock exhaust and vice versa.
jetting is easy, just remove the plug on the bottom of the float bowl or remove the 4 screws and drop the whole float bowl down and the main jet is right there, just unscrew it and screw the new jet in and put the plug back in or the float bowl back on if you removed it. it only takes 20 to 30 minutes or less to switch out a jet.
