will the stock 400ex rear shock fit on a 250EX w/ no modification?

I'm telling you: you are going to be a lot better off if you buy a shock made for you and your quad. A 400EX shock is made for a heavier quad and rider than your 250EX. if it does work (its not going to work correctly, but it may bolt up) i would think it would be a stiffer ride than your current shocks.

just prder up a set of works, they will get the job done... and they are pretty cheap....

cheaper then elka or axis, thoes are about 500-600 for the cheap ones...

you could try a banshee front shock on your rear.... there soft, but i herd they do alright...
try ebay.com

you cant. like i said it wouldnt be that much of an upgrade anyway unless you are pretty heavy

im afraid your prob stuck with what ya got until you can come up with some cash for diff shocks. start mowin lawns or shovelin driveways and save up some money. but i hate to break it to ya..your prob just better sellin the 250 and gettin somethin bigger. if your needing different shocks then youve already outgrown the 250. if your stuck with the 250 tho just get yourself a set of works cheapest shocks, the double rate no rezzie ones. they will definatley provide you with that extra cushion your lookin for
