ok, Wednesday, I am going to pick up my new 250ex from Mississippi. For christmas, i want a good pipe, but want to spend 350 or less....
I can get an E-series slip on from ebay for 215 new w/ a KNN air filter.
should i even consider a yoshi mura, E2, or FMF? thanks in advance for the help guys

well i have a fmf megamax 2 and its a good pipe. gives good low-end and top end. u can also adjust the sound and preformance with the disks that come with it. i belive with 11 disks it liek 98db. ut you can adjust it.

no offense or anything but dont buy an FMF...get either a HMF (not sure if they make them for 250ex's), Pro Circuit, or White Bros. Dont waste your money on an FMF

hmf makes a full system and a slip on version for the 250ex so got to their webiste http://www.hmfengineering.com and look into it> stay away from fmf. White brothers isnt all that bad and neither is pro circuit> But the first place you should look into is HMF

it says i have to do jet mods and go one clip up???? how hard is this, and also, i see no price, am i missing something?

also, mine is an '04, do they even make one to fit?

sorry to sound dumb, but i am new to the exhaust world.

well the fmf rocks i have it on my 250ex right now and it is the best pipe ive had great pipe i would get it

the mega max is one of the worst pipes for a power increase made. i have seen two on a 400ex and they weren't worth a crap. i modified my stock exhaust and got better power.

u said its the best pipe you've had...how do you know since this is most likely your first quad being your on a 250ex. The FMF MEGAMAX DOES SUCK!! My friend has one on his 300 and i would rather have a stock one on there than the Megamax. Not only is it more powerful its a hell of a lot quieter.

because when i first got it it had a pro circut t-4 on it . then i had a wb e-series and now i got the megamaxx

Why would you change pipes that many times. If you were searching for more power trust me you didnt find it in the Megamax.

when i first got the quad it came with the t-4 (didnt like it) then i got the e-series (didnt like it ) then my nighbor gave me the megamaxx for free when it was only 2 months old . because he said he was gettiing a new one for his quad like a fat boy or somethin . therefore i tried it and woo it felt like it had way more power then the t-4 or the e-series . plus i think it sound cool

Dude i could fight with you forever about that pipe but its not even worth my time. You can stick with your Megamax and your Bore Kit that you will eventually get.

Sorry for all of this Jason250ex...go with the HMF and you wont be disappointed

hey man, i am just giving you crap. in all honesty, the megamax isn't that great for power. what jet you running? what is the stock jet?
