DONT LAUGH!!!!:p I had a little mishap this wk end racing and I need a fix for my britches!!:o Has anyone patched there britches ?? Someone mentioned using leather or suede but Im no seamstress and I REALLY dont want to ditch my pants over a hole,but its where I could easily burn them again ,and this last time went clear to my skin!!:eek: Any ideas???

the leather idea sounds pretty good. try and find a small piece to cover that area and sew it on there or take it to someone who can sew it on there for you, it should only take them a few minutes to do it. the leather wont burn through easily like clothe does and will keep you from gettin burned again.

another fix that will last forever, stop wrapping the pipe with your legs :D

Put a iron on patch on it, it works fine.

yeah it probably will, unless you don't get it to hot but then it may not stick. i would just go with the leather patch, that way you won't have to worry about it.

Any upholstery or shoe repair shop can sew a leather patch over that. :)

I dont sew, I always hated it ,heck I dont even sew buttons very well :o
