450R calipers on a 400ex?

Anybody know if the 450R's front calipers will fit on a ex?

EX calipers list for around $170 each and Troy racing list the 450R's calipers for $55.11 ea!!

i was gonna do this before i bought a 450 i got a little into it but i think you gotta have a set of 450 spindles and all you other stuff bolts to that and u use the 450R calipers do a search might find some more info

I tried the search but didn't come up with much.

On the microfiche the calipers look totally different but it's hard to tell anything by pics.

I never thought of changing the entire spindle/hub/disc/caliper.
That could be an option as well.

Xowner; Since it says in your sig you have both a 450 and a 400 could you do some measuring and comparing if you have some extra time?

i got my 450 and 400 sitting in the garage ill check tonight after i clean the 450

You have to change spindle, hubs, and calipers-the rotors interchange!
