Just curious what companies are making swingarms for the YFZ to accept the 250R carrier, brakes, axle, etc..... I only know of JB racing right now, is there anyone else?

Are you sure about that?? I know these companies make round housing style carriers, but can you use the 250R axle, antifade, carrier and brakes on them?? , because it is my understanding that you can't.

Yes the Gibson on my YFZ uses the R Axle, carrier, antifade, rotor, brake caliper and brake caliper holder....

The swing arm is really beefy I don't think this one will ever break... !

I got mine from East Coast ATV usually deal with Matt, he likes to hook up the XC guys!!!

unless the outer dimensions of the carrier they use are different than a 250r you can, my rpm for my yfz has a 400ex carrier with all 250r componenets you just have to call the company and ask, my 3 choices would be

1 roll design
2 walsh
3 rpm

My choices would be

JRD
Walsh
Roll Design
RPM

in that order with their customer service to price ratio jrd just takes the bag.. walsh is sweet stuff n costumer serivice is good, well thats until you get your product 2 months later.. kinda sucks.. roll design has great costumer service n products but just cost too dman much!! rpm has descent costumer relations and good products..

you will beh appy with any of your purchases

jrd's swinger takes ALL of the 250R componets.. axle, antifade lock nut, hubs, wheels calipar.. etc.

combine that with a elka linkage or axis suspension even P.E.P and your good to go!

The LSR's and Gibson's are nothing alike.

a 250r style remember u need to use 250r brakes , u can hack it for a half season with the yfz caliper and plate but then u run out of chain adjustment due to calipe hitting swingarm

I run YFZ brakes on my 250r style swingarm and have had no trouble with them.

LSR has conversion hubs to run 250r coponents on a YFZ axle. Also you can do a complete 250r axle set up as well. so it is really up to you. You will need a round housing style swing arm to make one of those work. It will fit on allmost all aftermarket swing arms.
