What is the biggest dirtbike engine that will fit in my 300ex frame?

Will liquid cooled motors fit? If so where will i put the radiator? and i will have all the suspension and other neccesary mods already done to the quad before the motor goes in. If needed I cna fab up soem brckets for the radiator if the radiotor will not bolt up.

I want something faster with a lot more power to blast me ot of the corners on a mx track. That is all it will be used for. I heard ktms are good engines, but what about something else. I only want a fourstroke so no need in asking about two strokes.

thanx for your input

ive seen 300ex's make more then enough power. even more then can be had by doing all that work to get the bike engine in there

yea i know the possiblities but i want something that probably noone else will have but if i cant find a reasonable dirtbike engine i will juss make the 300ex one better.

if all your doing is mx, go with a crf250r motor!

bad idea...a bike motor will rip the 300ex to shreds! Just my 250x stroker motor tore up my frame and it had gussetts...

Ive seen a yz426 motor in one, but i can say it wont last for long....your best bet is a hwole new bike!

i've often heard of people putting 350x three wheeler motors into a 300ex frame. I think they even make a kit where it gives you new motor mounts to bolt up never seen one but i heard they rip
