Is it fine to paint springs, or do they have to be powdercoated? Will paint hold up to the flexing of springs?

What is it about powbercaot that makes it be able to flex like that on springs?

thats just pc. its properties make it stay just flexible enough to absorb impacts and flex. ofcourse too much of either will harm it:p
