hmf slip on with s/a and quiet core

anybody have a hmf slip-on pipe with spark arrester and quiet core. the hmf are said to be great pipes and they are very cheap too, if so how does it sound and is their a better slip on that is pretty quiet. i want the quiet core because i need to keep the noise level down because when people hear it , they know it will be me so i need a non annoying/loud pipe.

I have the powercoreIV-II S/A. Its a good slip on. Not to loud but loud enough to let people know your running a pipe. Basiclly it has it own unique sound. If you hammer down on the throttle it will bark, but it shouldn't tick anybody off. If you also get the powerbomb headpipe that will also quiet it down some more.

A friend of mine runs the HMF with quiet core insert. It sounds nice. He has taken the quiet core out a few times in the pits and now I know why he leaves it in, man that motha is loud.

How does the FMF PC4 S/A compare to other pipes as far as loudness? And does it sound more like the WB-E or the Yosh?

I run the HMF slip-on for a 400ex. It is pretty loud (i do not run a qc or sa) but not that loud. I went to their shop and talked to the owner before buying one and he told me it was like 98db without the qc. It is an awesome pipe though. Everyone thinks my bike sounds mean with it but it is kinda loud.

i am going for a 400ex and keeping it stock for a few months but i like to ask in advance so i know what i am looking for. i think the hmf look very good, are very reasonablely priced, and with the quiet core, it will be worth riding. and like it has been said, i can take it out if i go somewhere were i want to be loud:D
