no this isnt a should i buy a 450R or YFZ thread....

ok this is the deal

i currently have a 300EX that i race and all but my friend (atkins450) has a YFZ that i ride all the time...i have nooo problem handling it at all and im 6 foot 250 and the 300 is just to small and doesnt have close to enough power....im only 14 so i couldnt race the YFZ but i would have a quad that would fit me better and it would have alot of power where on the otherhand i could keep my 300 and race it for 2 years:ermm: and save up and buy a YFZ then...i dont know what to do.....

keep the 300 to better your skills and save up for that yfz and by that time you will be better at racing and will be able to win faster

Do that, and bore that badboy out, do some motor mods and you'll be happy with it for another year or so.

yeah i think i am but i cant go over 300cc's but i guess ill survive with the ol 300 for 2 more years but i cant complain...atleast i have a tricked out race quad!!:D

can we have a pic please of this pimped out 300ex :D

and if i were you id wait a year or so and then get a 450. until then pipe ur quad and do some other stuff to it and itll prolly last you until u want another.

it'll have burgaurd +2 a-arms and an LSR axle by the end of the winter i hope!:) its not the pimpest but i like it

I would wait. You'll have that much more experience racing. Plus by then maybe the Suzuki z450 will be out and crushing yfzs and 450rs.

why can't you race a yfz, i've been racing my 400ex sence i was 12-13 and now i'm 14 and geting a 450r, and im going to try to race nationals this year

NEATV-MX only lets you race over 400CC....kinda sucks...ive decided to wait anyway tho!
