thanks. that's my second favorite jump on that track. devil's gap is a 65' double through a sweeper and when you hit it, you have to square up about 5 feet before the lip going about 40mph in 4 tapped, it's pretty scary if you screw it up. i cased it 3rd time i hit it and i'm lucky i got back on.

that jump there is sweet. you just go hauling up the lip in real low rpm the whole way up to about 8 and then you let off and the front end downsides realy nice if you do it right. i can't wait to get my elkas ....there's a 121' step up that most of the 250A bikes do and a 90' quad, so i'm thinking about them :blah:

That guy looks a little big to be on that Quad lol.

Where was that at in NC btw? I have been to a track in East Bend, NC once on my XR200R and got smoked by little kids, poor XR200R had a crappy front tire and blown rear shock, wouldn't hold any nitrogen, little CR80s or similar bikes were smoking me. I did hit the table top pretty big a couple times, that was fun, until I landed and bottomed it out and got a little swirly, first time I ever road on a MX track, wouldn't mind taking the 400ex out there, but would be very nervous on the quad on the jumps.

I'm not sure what you would call sketchy, but I had a hard time on my 200, I had to run the crap out of it just to get over a small double, I didn't gain the balls to jump and clear anything but a small double and the table top accross the finish line, it was VERY muddy when I went, so muddy in fact there was one spot on the back side that I almost couldn't make through. I just went on a practice night and about the time me and my friends were packing it up some guys and about 3 quads showed up.

I went over the bars on my first run around the track because I was taking it slow and not running fast and didn't realize the backside on one of the doubles was so steep and didn't pick the front wheel up and down I went into the mud. I have a pic of the day after of my bike, its completely covered in mud lol.

nice pics. i like that 450r tilt on page 2, that's pretty cool. i love just getting up there and tossing it crooked and getting the foot on the seat, you guys know what i'm talkin about ;). that LT is real nice, i like it. i saw a LT at a race and it had this REALLY weird linkage, it was upside down, inside out, and sideways or something. i'd put some pics of Pro's in here but i'm lazy..maybe later.

Chit Bart ... that sucks about the Suzuki ,,,, especially it being so clean and all .... now you need a frame and stuff :(

Atleast you're still alive and kicking .... quads and parts can be replaced .... a life can't be . Good to hear you're starting the heal up a bit ... it takes time . You must have really rattled your brain eh?? How's the helmet look?? Glad to hear you're doing better though .

I don't know if I asked you before , but do you have any use for a Suzuki Shop manual ??? I also have an Ignition coil that works perfect for the same machine . If you have any use for it , let me know and I'll send it to you free of charge . If not ... I'm junking it .... I have no use for it , and it's taking up space .

Altoona is about Central PA. about an hour from State College, Johnstown, or Bedford. I'm actually moving in about two months near Bedford. There's a real nice quad track in Bedford called Wolfmann's MX. i ran the Fall Series Champ down there and got 3rd overall. we should meet up sometime and have a ride down there, they practice every other day of the week.

well, they don't let quads run anymore :grr: which isn't cool. however, there were 100+ quads at that event with about a little over 10 classes. the track is great, real high speed in some sections, it's pretty technical, there's a nice downhill 90' single to talbetop, it's like a national track, i like it. they were takling about not running it this year but they probably will.

yea, i think the right rear hit a little first. the jump is hard to hit. the creek bed is only about a 8 to ten feet wide and you have to drop in from the other side. plus it is unevean. he had to do it like 5 times before my GF got the good pic.

Yeah I didnot get to see rausch creeks after the rebuilt the expert and intermediate track. How much of a run is there at the 110 foot jump? Also what got added to the intemediate and expert track? Anybody have pics of the new jumps?

heres a pic of me on my trike, its not real big air, but it cleared the tabletop. Btw I love that track that rausch creek, the first time I was there I was getting some real good air on the 80ft? tabletop. The last time I was there, I only could ride the advanced track and was clearing the jumps, except the doubles on my trike. I'm defiently going back there soon and armed with a lrd 310pv.

The new triple step up is right after the first tabletop, where the small step up used to be. Theres a nice run but its not as easy as you'd think. They redid the tabletop, and now it sends you high and slows you down. Its 4th gear wide open, with lots of preloading. Mike from Rausch and a few of us measured it out to be 95ft from crest to crest. Trust me you don't want to come up short, it bends axles............. :grr:

Nothing has changed on the intermediate track since summer.

Yeah alot of ous got hurt at the last exriders ride at rausch on the expert track. 4 people including me ended up having problems on this one jump. I got helicoptered out for a concusion, paul from bluetrax snaped his axle, ralph got a broken arm. You really do have to take it easy and see people hit the jumps at rausch before you do them.

Unfortunately, Alot of people seem to crash at Rausch. But you must understand, the quad track is an EXPERT track... the jumps are large, technical, and dangerous. But its probably the greatest track ever :D

BTW, eastside and kilabanshee - if ya ever see me at rausch come say Hi. I'm on a blue YFZ #911

Yeah if your free sometime in the spring I can show you around a sweet riding spot in the pocanoes which is alot of fun. I'll deff be at rausch creek alot in the spring so I can get warmed up before the mx season starts.

Yeah sometime in the spring we should go riding at rausch. There is a pretty sweet spot hazelton, PA up in the pocanoes were there is tons of riding hillclimbs, jumps, drags ect. I think this is alot nicer then towercity and also alot closer.
