XC tire opinions?

I'm going to convert my current Razr 6-plys into ice tires this year. I was thinking of one of these setups for my XC tires:

RazrII fronts w/ Razr rear

XCR fronts w/ XCR Rear

HD fronts w/ HD rear

Anyone ever used all of these combos? opinons?

I feel the std front Razr push a little on the 400ex.

I used the HD rears and XCR fronts and had zero problems,,,

I run the xcr holeshot and kenda xcf in the front the xcr tires deff wear down really fast.
Tires i recomend
Kenda knarly rears I pretty sure jeff stoess runs these
Holeshot xcrs do hook up pretty well but wear way to fast
The holeshot hd tires I havenot got a chance to ride but i hear are similar to razr 2's.

I got a new rear set of xcr's yesterday. Weight whys it felt like the hd's weighed twice as much as the xcr's. You would probly have to drill a hole in them to get a flat though.

I like the razr fronts they seem to clean out the best when your riding in the really muddy stuff.

I ride alot of rough, rooty, rocky crap. I have had XCR/MX's etc. Now I run H.D.s' on ITP bajaT-9 rims. I rode over 60 miles at the last Loretta's fall ride and never had a problem. Other guys had problems with tires, they did not have H.D.'s

Yes they are heavy but if you have a flat race is done pretty much.

Loved my razr2's up front and orignal razrs for the rears, But im actully thinkin about Razr2's and holeshot HD"S

i like holeshot xc rears alot, but i think the razrr2 is a better front tire, that would make a good combo!

The Kenda Klaw front and Kenda Knarly XC rear has been the best tires I've run.

we run the XCR front and rear and the HD rear with the XCR front.but for mx we run the klaws.

I think ITP's front tires suck. Razr2 fronts have been the best front tire I've ever used but rear Razrs of either model haven't done much for me. ITP HD's will be my next rear tire purchase.

I do like the Kenda Knarlys in the rear also...:cool:

Would razr 2's be too heavy for a blaster? I might be interested in them if they arn't. How are the xcr klaws for front tires?

i like my razr2s front and back i can really tell how much they really hook up in the wet and muddy stuff now that the the weather is getting nasty down here and i dont see how anyone could be dissappointed wiht razr2 front or rear i dunno maybe they dont fit some riding styles but they work great for me

Almost everyone I know agrees razr2's are the way to go up front, with the best rear probably depending on the conditions. I'm getting ready to run HD's on the rear most of the time with razr1's and Knarly's on standby.
