Laeger Pro-Trax Steering Stem Question

I have a Laeger Pro-Trax Steering stem I am going to get re-chromed, does anyone know how to get the bushings out of the top where the handle bar clamp goes?

I have an aftermarket stem and with my bushings there was a bit of a gap between them on the inside so I could just get them out with a screw driver. You could try that or some other things. My brother has a Laeger's stem but I'm not sure how he got his out, but it's not real hard.
